Sewer manholes are under constant attack from microbiologically induced corrosion (MIC), traffic loading and groundwater infiltration. Many times the manholes are located in the middle of busy streets, making them impossible to replace without costly pavement repairs and traffic disruption. Johnson Service can rehabilitate the manholes in place, without affecting traffic or sewer service. We use the Strong Seal® system of cementitious grouts to rebuild the manhole’s structural integrity. If MIC corrosion is a problem, we then apply Raven corrosion-proof epoxy.
