Trenchless Sewer Liners
Sewer lining is the most popular type of sewer repair system due to its low cost and trenchless installation. We can install a liner from manhole to manhole to restore its structural integrity and to limit root intrusion and groundwater infiltration.
The process involves the inversion of a felt and resin liner tube into a damaged sewer. Hot water or pressurized steam is introduced into the liner to form-fit and cure the resin. Service laterals are then restored internally with robotically controlled cutters and cameras.
The CIP liner is inverted into the existing sewer through an air inversion machine at the upstream manhole. The liner is stored in a refrigerated truck to keep the resin from hardening.
