Manhole Rehabilitation

Sewer manholes are under constant attack from microbiologically induced corrosion (MIC), traffic loading and groundwater infiltration. Many times the manholes are located in the middle of busy streets, making them impossible to replace without costly pavement repairs and traffic disruption. Johnson Service can rehabilitate the manholes in place, without affecting traffic or sewer service. We use the Strong Seal® system of cementitious grouts to rebuild the manhole’s structural integrity. If MIC corrosion is a problem, we then apply Raven corrosion-proof epoxy.

  • Restore existing manholes without excavation or interruption of service
  • Grout and epoxy are spray applied using specialized application equipment
  • High strength, fiber reinforced grout restores structural integrity
  • Stops infiltration, exfiltration and inflow
  • Epoxy coating protects against microbiological corrosion
  • Use on sewer manholes, wet wells, and water reservoirs
  • 4 levels of structure rehabilitation
